Meet the Seniors – Class of 2018

Each year, we invite our senior class to reflect on their experiences in high school and at Riverstone. The students each answer one question tailored specifically to him or her, and then we open the floor to the audience of parents, students, friends, and community members to ask additional questions.

Here is a sampling of the questions:

  • “As one of the first residents of Riverstone House, you have been big part of building that community. Tell us about what it’s been like living with students from 12 different countries and please share one of your favorite memories of the dorm.”
  • “You clearly love the outdoors and are an accomplished climber and student leader while on Riverstone outdoor trips. What was your favorite Riverstone outdoor trip?”
  • “You have been involved in several ensembles at Riverstone and are in the process of writing, recording, and producing an EP for a record label based in Nashville, Tennessee. Tell us more about your love of music and some of the highlights of Diploma Programme Music.”
  • “You moved to Boise from Hawaii and have taken surfing lessons while there. How has attending Riverstone been like learning to surf?”

Their answers were as individual as they are, but universally, they thanked their teachers and parents for their guidance and support.

We captured their answers to written questions in the Meet the Seniors brochure. Their college choices, Extended Essay topics, challenges and highlights of attending Riverstone, their Creativity/Activity/Service projects, and words of advice for younger students are all included. Download the brochure here.

Congratulations again to the Class of 2018! Next up: IB exams!
