Riverstone Class of 2010 graduate, Kathryn Balleh gave the Distinguished Alumnus Address at the Boise Rotary Century Scholars Program Celebration on April 11, 2018. A Brown University Class of 2014 alumna, Kathryn also received her Masters in Journalism and Near Eastern studies form New York University. Currently living in Turkey as an English teacher and editor, she shared words of wisdom for the Scholars via video from Istanbul, Turkey.

Each year, Boise Rotary Scholars honors the top 100 graduating seniors from Boise’s public and non-public high schools. At this special event, the Scholars are profiled and honored by family, friends and representatives of our community’s business, government, civic, education and service sectors. Two members of the Riverstone Class of 2018, Christina U and Javin S, were honored this year, in addition to their chosen significant educators, Mr. Udesen and Mr. Beard.
