Share your expertise. Do you have a hobby, profession, skill, or access to unique opportunities you would be willing to share with kids, families, or adults? Special dinners, weekend getaways, guided trips, and family experiences are always popular donations and are a fun way to raise money for Riverstone.

Share your connections. Your connections to theater, music events, sporting events, dining, books, art, jewelry, and gift certificates are always helpful and appreciated.

Your support elevated our ability to positively impact our students, staff, programs, and community.

In January 2015, Riverstone International School embarked upon a two-year campaign to build an endowment called “Navigating Forward.” The need for this essential campaign was identified as a priority during strategic planning.

Through the generous support of our community, we were able to secure this transformation opportunity and further Riverstone’s mission and the education that our current — and future — students experience.

We raised more than $1,000,000, unlocking a grant from the Malone Family Foundation of $2,000,000. These funds ensure that Riverstone has the resources to continue educating students in an engaging, innovative, relevant, and meaningful manner long into the future.

The Riverstone International School Endowment will be comprised of three elements:

• The Fund for Excellence
• The Fund for Capital Improvement
• The Malone Family Foundation Fund

Fund for Excellence

Your support of the Fund for Excellence will provide funding to ensure excellence and continual improvement of our students’ educational experience:

• Advance the vision and initiatives presented in strategic planning
• Enhance faculty development and compensation
• Strengthen the programs that the school offers
• Improve access for more students to attend Riverstone International School

Fund for Capital Improvements

Your support of the Fund for Capital Improvement will enable the school to thoughtfully address facilities needs and improvements that are supported in strategic planning.

Malone Family Foundation Fund

By establishing and funding the Riverstone Endowment, the school can secure the Malone Family Foundation grant of $2 million. Contributions to the Malone Family Foundation Fund will not be solicited from the Riverstone community. Qualifying, promising students may apply for Malone Family Foundation Scholarships.

What will your legacy be?

Gifts that are made as part of your estate plan are known as planned giving. These gifts can provide future support to the school while having valuable tax benefits to you as the donor.

There are a variety of avenues to approach planned giving; we are happy to help identify options that would be mutually beneficial to you and the school.

Make a donation in memory of, or in tribute to, a loved one.

We are honored to receive and gratefully accept contributions made in memory of, or in tribute to, loved ones. The daily experiences of our students are enhanced by your generosity and thoughtfulness.

When we receive memorial or tribute gifts, we notify the family or recipient that a gift has been made and provide the donor with the opportunity to personalize their message.

Memorial or tribute gifts are tax-deductible.

Every day we ask our students to step up and rise to challenges. With the Annual Fund, our community has the opportunity to band together in support of their efforts. That’s why we are proud to say that nearly 100% of our board, parents, faculty, and staff give to our Annual Fund year after year in support. This month-long campaign is vital to Riverstone’s sustainability, as it enables us to fund essential educational opportunities that are not covered by tuition alone. We invite you to give as generously as you can; know that your tax-deductible gift will immediately be put to great use to help our school.
