Elementary School Openings (Preschool–Grade 5)
Elementary School Substitute Teachers
Elementary School Substitute Teachers: We are always seeking qualified individuals for our substitute list. College degree required and teaching experience is preferred. After School Care is an integral part of Riverstone’s daily operations as it provides childcare services to students ages 3–11 years old after the school day. This person will work under the direction of the Auxiliary Programming Coordinator. The schedule for this position is 3:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 2:00 PM on Wednesdays to prepare for students. The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) promotes social, emotional, and physical development of each child. Riverstone International School seeks a dedicated individual to join our team as an School Aide.
The School Aide will begin their shift at 11:00 AM to serve lunch in the cafeteria. Since school lunches are prepared by an outside vendor, the aide’s main responsibility will be distributing the meals. After lunch, the aide will have a break from 12:30 to 1:30 PM to take their own lunch. From 1:30 to 3:00 PM, the aide will assist with various tasks such as helping teachers reorganize, and supporting the setup and breakdown needs of the Art and Science departments. After-School Care is a vital part of Riverstone’s operations, providing childcare for students ages 3–11 from the end of the school day until 6:00 PM.
The School Aide collaborates closely with the After-School Care Lead and Auxiliary Programming Coordinator to maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment, offering supervision and guidance to students during a range of after-school activities.

Secondary Learning Support Lead
Position is responsible for assisting with the implementation of a student support program in collaboration with Riverstone’s SSP team and specifically the Student Life and Support Coordinator as well as relevant Division Directors. The position provides support services to primarily teachers, but also students; assists in the development of prevention, intervention, and differentiation strategies; and works with Student Life and Support Coordinator to monitor student progress.
