In 2012, The Malone Family Foundation selected Riverstone International School as the only school in Idaho to receive a $2 million endowment grant for the funding of educational opportunities for new students entering Grades 7 through 9. Students show enthusiasm and motivation for academic excellence, demonstrates financial need, and are US citizens.

Riverstone is pleased to offer academically motivated students the opportunity to apply for a Malone Scholarship. Students in grades 7–9 for the upcoming year are eligible to apply. The award amount will vary according to the financial need documented by the student’s family. If an applicant is not awarded this scholarship, he or she may be awarded financial assistance if available.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
- New students applying for admission to grades 7–9.
- Citizens of the United States.
- Applicants who show enthusiasm and motivation for academic excellence, evidenced by grade reports, test scores, and teacher recommendations.
- Demonstrate financial need to qualify for funding of at least 30 percent of tuition through Riverstone’s need-based financial aid process.

- Student Writing Sample: Students should submit an additional essay in the application portal by indicating they are applying for the Malone Scholarship.
