Gr 3 Visits BAM

The following blog was re-posted from one of our third grade teachers whose class recently visited the Boise Art Museum. Thanks to BAM and our art teacher, Mr. Nelson, for making the field trip possible:

“Our visit to the Boise Art Museum, organized by our art teacher Mr. Jay, was wonderful. The docents led us through parts of the gallery where we discussed art pieces and related them to idioms and puns. We also talked about preferences related to ceramic pieces. After our exhibit time, the students had a chance to create their own art in the museum’s studio. Your child is bringing home a BAM pass good for him/her and one adult. Enjoy!”
