If you are in grades 6-8 and are intrigued by the question above, you should join Riverstone’s first Middle School Science Bowl team! The team has been meeting weekly with High School Science teacher and team coach, Mark Anderson, to answer questions about physical science, life science, earth science, and math. Students have to be fast and accurate in their answers to questions to maximize their team score.
The team attended a practice competition this past Saturday and tied for second place! They were so excited about the competition that they have plans to meet for extra lunchtime study sessions in order to prepare for the regional competition in February.
