
Congratulations to the Riverstone Academic Decathlon Team!!! The team placed 1st in category at the State Competition held here in Boise March 13th and 14th. The team has been in preparation for this event for 11months. Medals were awarded in 10 events based upon this year’s theme of “Mexico and Latin America” in three separate academic categories.

It is worthy to note that all team members received medals and Kylie Poppen and Juliana Myhre won scholarship money for placing 1st in overall individual for all 10 events! Additionally, Davis Gilton and Jackson Sheedy placed 2nd, and Jessie Sims placed 3rd in overall individual for all 10 events.
