Happy 2022!

The start of a new year is often a time of reflection and a time to look to the future. We thought this would be a perfect opportunity to share words of advice from one of our alumni, Kangmin K., Class of 2011. Kangmin is from South Korea and spent four years at Riverstone before earning a B.S. in Chemistry from Colorado College and a Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Colorado.

Each and every one of you have your own scary and new experience coming. Try taking classes that you thought you were going to be bad at. Sing in front of people. Cook a whole Thanksgiving meal for your friends. You will learn more about yourself than ever. You will learn that you are more capable than you expected. And you might find joy along the way during the process.

In his video, Kangmin also talks about some of his favorite Riverstone memories. Click here to watch the video.

Kangmin’s words capture the essence of a Riverstone education. If finding a school that encourages students to try new things while surrounding its students with support and encouragement is a goal this year, please email our Admissions team and let’s set up a time to talk!

Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
