At the National History Day Competition at the University of Maryland earlier this month, Grade 10 student Salma S, presented her paper while classmates Darci D, Derek L. and Elliot F. competed in a Senior Group Performance together. Over 100 students from across the nation competed in each category–a tremendous number! We’re grateful to Riverstone parent Johanna Bringhurst for her coaching and leadership as History Day in Idaho Coordinator to the entire Idaho delegation. Riverstone teacher Dan Neef also traveled with our group and participated in the event as a website-category judge. Riverstone students: this summer is a great time to start thinking of what you might present for the 2019-2020 theme of Breaking Barriers in History–visit www.nhd..org for more information!
