Grade 3 students are learning about heroes in their current unit of inquiry. For this activity, students were asked to read a book and then write about one character from that book, focusing on the character’s traits. As you can see, they also decorated pumpkins to look like their character! To wrap it up, the students each gave a presentation to the class while their classmates took notes.
Wow! There was a lot of learning happening during this fun activity! Makes you want to visit third grade, doesn’t it?
