Administrative Openings
Riverstone International School is seeking to hire Director of Development who will be responsible for establishing and implementing annual and long-range development strategies for the school that are consistent with the strategic plan and school’s enrollment goals. The Director of Development works closely with the Head of School, Board of Trustees, the Director of Enrollment Management, and the Director of Marketing and Communications to provide leadership for the development program as it builds a strong culture of philanthropy throughout the school community. The Director will also serve as the school’s primary coordinator and liaison to the parent chairpersons for the school’s two major fundraising efforts, the Annual Fund campaign, and Annual Auction. Establishing an alumni council, organizing community events, and identifying and writing grant applications are important elements of this position.
This is a year-round, full-time, exempt position with occasional weekend or evening work. The Director of Development will report to the Head of School. Can-do initiative, personal responsibility, and a commitment to professional growth and quality work are core values shared by all members of the Riverstone International School senior leadership team.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree with; 2+ years experience in event coordination; 1+ year development or grant-writing experience; strong organizational, interpersonal, technology, project management, and communication skills; proven success in fundraising and marketing; experience with fundraising/CRM or other relevant software; and proven success in recruiting and motivating volunteers.

Elementary School Teacher
Riverstone International School is looking to hire an energetic teacher to join its Elementary School team, Grade K through Grade 5 starting August 2024 for the 2024-25 school year. Experience and/or knowledge of the International Baccalaureate, Primary Years Programme, is advantageous. Desirable candidates will have a teaching certification, classroom teaching experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with parents, staff, and school personnel. Riverstone International School is looking to hire a full-time Spanish Language Teachers Aide for Pre-Kindergarten. The strongest candidates will have teaching experience, fluency writing and speaking in the Spanish Language, and have experience in the International Baccalaureate. Candidates must be able to demonstrate competence in reading, writing, and speaking the Spanish/English Languages and a demonstrated ability to deliver foreign language instruction. This is a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM non-exempt position. The right candidate will be able to start immediately and work through May 31, 2024, with the exception of weekends and school holidays.
